Abracon's AK2A/AK3A is an ultra-low RMS jitter oscillator designed to provide stable and accurate clock signals for high-speed applications such as data centers, 100G/400G/800G Ethernet, and optical modules. This device uses third overtone technology to achieve 64fs jitter performance and lower power consumption. As an extension of our ClearClock® line, it is ideal for applications that require a carrier frequency between 100 and 212.5 MHz and need lane rates to 400Gbps. The AK2A/AK3A is the perfect solution for compact designs as it still supports industry-standard footprints of 2.5 x 2.0 mm and 3.2 x 2.5 mm, but substantially improves the jitter performance over the AK2 and AX3 family. These series of oscillators are available in Abracon's global distribution network and offer various output logics like LVPECL, LVDS, and HCSL. While still delivering reliable and efficient oscillations, these devices can maintain a 25ppm stability over a temperature operating range of -40°C to +85°C and 15ppm stability over -20°C to +70°C.
