Partnership agreement between Abracon and Allied Electronics & Automation extended to include RS Components

AUSTIN, TX – Abracon, LLC (Abracon), a leading global manufacturer of frequency control, timing, synchronization, RF, connectivity, and power component solutions, has signed a franchise agreement with RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), to further service markets including industrial, communications and automotive, as well as the emerging generation of IoT applications.

The distribution deal covers the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions and provides RS customers with fast and easy access to Abracon’s diverse portfolio of products, which includes quartz timing crystals and MEMS oscillators, real-time clocks (RTCs), RJ45 jacks with magnetics, power and RF inductors, wireless charging coils, antennas and other RF devices. The agreement represents an important extension of the existing relationship between Abracon and Allied Electronics & Automation, the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc in the Americas.

Key advanced technologies for Abracon include advanced design, simulation and testing of Pierce oscillators and RF antenna systems. With the ability to diagnose in-circuit performance of crystals in low power IoT devices, the Pierce Analyzer System (PAS) exposes design flaws before they impact the application’s reliability. Antenna tuning services complement Abracon’s advanced electromagnetic simulation and design capabilities to provide customers with a fast track to market in complex RF and wireless designs.
