Abracon to Present Webinar About MIMO Techniques and Antenna Diversity

Anitha Govind, Abracon’s RF & Connectivity engineering manager, will present a webinar entitled “MIMO Techniques and Antenna Diversity: The keys to improve wireless performance” at 2:45 p.m. EST on June 10, 2020.

This webinar provides integral insights into multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques, antenna diversity, and their benefits for modern and future wireless communications technologies.

MIMO techniques can substantially increase the data rate and improve the reliability of wireless communications without requiring extra spectrum or power resources. MIMO uses multiple-antenna systems to achieve high spectrum efficiency and improved quality of service (QoS) required for next-generation wireless systems. Multiple antenna designs can be realized using one or more of the antenna diversity techniques.

Govind has a Ph.D. in Electromagnetic Engineering and is instrumental in the development and execution of Abracon’s antenna strategy. She has more than 10 years of experience in areas such as antenna design & measurements, RF measurements and automated manufacturing & compliance test solutions for RF chipsets. Her extensive experience includes carrying out performance analysis, developing signal processing & front-end algorithms for latest wireless technologies and prototyping by making use of theoretical and simulation/test-bed tools.
