Austin, Texas – Abracon, LLC (Abracon), The Heartbeat of the IoT®, a leading global manufacturer of frequency control, timing, synchronization, RF, connectivity and power solutions, announces availability of two new antennas targeting WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and ISM band applications. The ACAR0301-SW2 and APARN1204-S2450 are designed to meet the needs of compact electronics that require an ideal compromise between small size and peak gain. These antennas are fitting solutions for wearables, augmented reality, virtual reality, drones, robotics, industrial controls and other Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

“Printed circuit board real estate in many WiFi and Bluetooth applications is at a premium,” said Juan Conchas, director of marketing with Abracon. “These compact antennas boost performance and bandwidth while conserving space.”

The Tiny But Mighty™ ACAR0301-SW2 is especially well suited for size-constrained designs that require coverage of both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The dual-band operation complements broadband applications needing to connect and operate with mobile devices. With a 3.05 x 1.60mm footprint and a low 0.55mm profile, small devices are enabled to meet necessary WiFi and Bluetooth bands.

The APARN1204-S2450 patch antenna also enables compact design by featuring a 12.0 x 12.0mm footprint and a 4.0mm height.

Abracon provides patch and chip antenna optimization services to help optimize gain, bandwidth and efficiency. Optimal antenna design improves range, lowers power consumption, reduces interference and minimizes bit error rate.

These antennas are in stock and available now from Abracon’s franchised distributors.
