Abracon Announces Component Solutions Kits for IoT, Wearables and Automotive Applications

These kits are designed to enable fast prototyping using in-stock off-the-shelf high performance components.

The automotive kit contains a collection of timing, antenna and inductor solutions specifically selected for high reliability and high performance. High power inductors for headlamp and body electronics offer wide temperature operation. Tuning fork crystals offer extended reliability. Both families are AEC-Q200 qualified manufactured using
IATF 16949 production lines. Antennas feature high gain covering Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS bands for mobile phone and headset connectivity, broadband and geolocation capabilities.

The IoT and wearables optimized components kit features component solutions that extend battery life and enhance connectivity including real time clocks with 22nA time keeping current, IoT optimized “W” series crystals designed for next generation energy saving MCUs, high gain chip antenna for 2.4GHz BLE and Wi-Fi and miniature chip inductors enabling high efficiency power conditioning. The kit also includes industry leading 32.768kHz solutions with 1.54 x 0.84mm footprint utilizing MEMS technology to reduce board area. A wireless charging coil with less than 0.6mm profile delivers the robustness and convenience benefits of non-contact charging while maintaing small form factor.
