Highlighting our featured products, suitable for the industrial markets, offering enhanced efficiency, durability, performance and quality.
Industrial Automation control systems consist of sensors, a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and actuators such as robotic arms, and motors. Abracon’s ABM8, ABM10, and ABM11 series crystal oscillators have a seam-sealed ceramic package to assure high precision and reliability. The ASADV, ASDDV, and ASEDV series continuous volt crystal oscillators (SPXO) are designed for simplicity and optimized for low RMS jitter and low power consumption at any voltage between 1.60V and 3.60V. These features make the oscillators ideal for high-reliability system design.
Abracon’s AMSLA Series high power density stacked inductors are industry-leading devices. The increased power density is equipped to support higher-rated currents with lower DCRs, making them ideal for assembly line robotics, industrial motors controllers, and power conversion circuitry.
Smart Lighting allows each light to be individually addressable by a wireless connection from a central location. A Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) is used as a wide area network for low data rates. LPWAN protocols include NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, and Sigfox. A GPS/GNSS receiver is used to confirm the location of the lights and GPS Time for accurate metering. Additional wireless protocols and sensors are often included to support cellular connectivity and other Smart City applications such as traffic cameras, and pollution monitoring. Abracon has a broad product portfolio for many of the Smart City requirements including the ABM8, ABM10, and ABM11 Series crystals. The crystals have tight tolerance and stability of 10ppm over -30 to +85C for reliable wireless communications. Abracon’s innovative antennas are ideal for Smart City applications including internal and external solutions, with multi-frequency multi-protocol combo antennas, chip, stamped metal, and embedded PCB.
Smart Building includes applications relating to a building’s core systems. IoT sensors are often used for monitoring and data transmission of metrics associated with the building conditions such as air quality, temperature, fire detection, occupancy, and security. WiFi is often used for Access Control systems to wireless connect the system to the local network, for example for video data to a mobile device, or integration with other parts of a full access control system. Abracon's Niche™ PCB trace antennas which are designed and manufactured by Abracon’s brand ProAnt with patented design are the perfect solution for Access Control Systems. The embedded PCB antennas are 22.0 x 11.0 x 0.8mm and 22.0 x 20.0 x 0.8mm in size with 100mm cable standard and IPEX/MHF connectors both MHF (U.FL comparable) and MHF-4 type (ultra-low profile type at 1.2mm versus 2.5mm). The length of the cable can also be customized to suit your requirements.
Many electronic devices require a power conversion. The power conversion might involve a change between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC), frequency change, and/or clean-up filtering. Two of the most important factors in the circuit design is high-power efficiency and power density. Abracon's portfolio of stacked power inductors, wire-wound power inductors, and common mode chokes are ideal solutions for for high power density performance, lower EMI, and prevent electromagnetic interference.
Designers seeking to utilize a common local oscillator across a varying bias voltage scheme in their system will benefit from Abracon's Continuous Voltage® oscillator family. The SPXO and TCXO devices are designed to support low power and battery-powered designs requiring reduced overall system power budget. These series feature the most common operating temperatures and stability options.
Our OnBoard stamped metal antennas can support the Planar Inverted F Antenna (PIFA) technology, and are equipped with a space-saving feature—no reserve PCB area is needed for the antenna. The implementation of the antenna's technology is at a low cost by using stamped metal. By using these antennas customers receive the best out of their application.
Abracon’s ASPI High Power Density Commercial Inductor series are ideal solutions for low profile applications with high current and transient loads requiring EMI shielding, such as DC-DC switching converters and power supplies for notebooks, workstations, and servers. Each series features a metal alloy core to enable higher inductance capabilities and a molded construction to prevent interference and disruption to neighboring circuitry.
