Tony Roybal is a senior electronic components industry executive with broad leadership experience in all aspects of the business and the various channels to market. Mr. Roybal began his career in 1991 as a “sales engineer” at Hamilton Avnet and has continuously taken on greater responsibilities while delivering profitable results and market outperformance. Most recently as the president of Avnet Americas, he drove a complete financial turnaround of that business that is now delivering at record income & profit levels since his arrival nearly 4 years ago. Prior to Avnet, Tony was in various leadership positions at Motorola Semiconductor and onsemi for 25 years. He has also established himself in the industry as a highly ethical, strong leader with great vision as well as being a dedicated mentor – not only within his own organizations, but to many in the industry. Mr. Roybal builds disciplined, high performance, highly motivated/energized teams that deliver market-outperforming results – the core of any successful organization. During his tenure at Avnet Tony successfully reengineered the organization’s structure, strategy and operating model to deliver profitable growth, regardless of market volatility.
Tony educational/personal facts:
Grace began her career with Ernst and Young, LLP in Chicago, IL and has held leadership roles in finance and operations across the consumer products, retail, and diversified industrials sectors, including the Walgreen Co., IDEX Corporation, Intuit, and the Wm. Wrigley Jr Company.
Most recently, Grace served as the Chief Financial Officer of Direct Commerce Group, a third- party reseller and direct to consumer fulfillment service provider. Prior to this, she was the Chief Financial Officer at Rand McNally, a leader in the telematics and consumer electronics industry.
Grace obtained her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In her spare time, Grace enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Currently, she resides in Chicago with her 12 year old daughter, Naomi and 10 year old son Nicholas.
Mike White is an experienced leader in driving sales, profitability and market share growth. He has a long history of managing channel relationships as well as building and leading regional sales teams in Asia, Europe and North America to align on sales growth by capturing and growing conversion opportunities.
As the VP of Global Sales at Abracon, Mike oversees an extensive, best-in-class network of sales representatives and distributors. Mike’s primary priority is achieving Abracon’s aggressive growth plans for overall and NPI sales in all three regions (Americas, APAC and EMEA). He is currently focused on monitoring the progress toward growth plans through utilizing significant investments in sales resources, underpenetrated GEOs and new sales tools such as a CRM.
Mike have extensive long-term relationships with key influential individuals across the industry These relationships are vital in gaining Abracon the support and exposure to align with these large global channel partners and rep firms with major principles (SEMI-centric) for a relatively smaller supplier to become part of the key initiatives in the industry.
Prior to Abracon, Mike spent more than 20 years holding various executive-level sales and marketing roles at Arrow Electronics. As the Vice President of the Global Alliance Business Unit, he was responsible for supplier relationships and performance across Arrow’s entire components line card, which represented a $1.9B annual sales plan. He oversaw margin management to increase profitability with key suppliers and developed supplier value propositions for greater engagement within the Global Alliance customer set.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, where he majored in procurement materials management with a concentration in operations. He is a member of the ECIA (Electronics Components Industry Association) and the ERA (Electronics Representative Association.
Syed Raza’s primary areas of interest include developing technology-centric product strategies and providing in-depth timing solutions. He has a comprehensive understanding of product mix, capability and applications. Syed’s career spans more than 28 years, focused on product design, development, management and technical sales.
His career at Abracon began in April 2007. He served three distinct roles as Regional Sales Manager - Midwest, Director of NPI and Lead Technical resource for the balance of the sales team. He was promoted to VP of Engineering in 2015 and has since served an instrumental role in leading Abracon’s strategic technological direction and enhancing Abracon’s market recognition as a solution provider.
Syed began his career at Motorola’s components division, where he learned from the brightest design engineers focused on timing solutions as part of the product development team. He later joined Netcom, Inc. as the principal engineer focused on developing a new business unit that brought high-end timing and synchronization solutions to market for commercial & military avionics and battlefield communication hardware. His work also included designing and managing complex RF assemblies for MRI systems, Ultrasound machines, cellular base stations and mmwave Radio networks. He worked his way up to Sr. VP of Sales & Engineering during his 8-year tenure at Netcom, Inc., and was instrumental in building and managing an engineering team of [22] engineers and sales personal.
Syed has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Northern Illinois University (NIU).
He is an IEEE member and was awarded U.S. patent # 5,760,656. He was received multiple invention/discovery awards during his tenure at Motorola and brought to market, highly integrated products while at Netcom for Military end-applications.
Amy Keller moved to Austin, Texas, from Denver, Colorado, in 2020 to join Abracon as Vice President, Global Marketing. She leads the company’s strategic marketing efforts, including global brand expansion, digital transformation strategy, and new product releases.
Before joining Abracon, Amy spent 21 years at Arrow Electronics in Colorado. She held leadership roles delivering customer-centric strategies in global supply chain solutions, supplier marketing, and sales. She led global sales efforts focused on complex customer engagements while overseeing multiple global supply chain programs, including warehouse expansion, blockchain, and digital supply chain transformation.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in Marketing & Logistics and a certificate in Digital Marketing from Cornell.
Amy’s progressive spirit keeps her active and always looking forward. Over the years, Amy has served on several non-profit boards. She is a Founding Director for Women in Electronics, a national non-profit organization centered around professional leadership development.
Tim has almost 20 years of technology and strategy experience spanning bio-medicals, semiconductors, telecommunications, and industrial technologies.
As Vice President of Corporate Development, he leads inorganic and organic growth initiatives for Abracon.
Most recently, Tim lead mergers and acquisitions for Emerson's most acquisitive business group, Systems and Software as the Director of Strategic Planning.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from UT Austin's McCombs School of Business and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, as well as Bachelors degrees in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering.
Tim, his wife Nel, and their two children Derric and Dakota live in Austin, Texas. Beyond his professional interests, Tim is a world traveler, enjoying road-tripping, scuba diving, and other outdoor activities. He is a consummate foodie and a culinary explorer.
Richard comes to Abracon with a strong track record of success, a determination to win, and a commitment to high-performance teams and operational excellence. Richard received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arizona State University and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Richard most recently held the role of vice president of Operations and Supply Chain at Avnet. While at Avnet Richard was responsible for Avnet’s material management, supply chain solutions, and business optimization efforts aligning with sales, finance, and IT to drive growth and improved profits. With 25+ years of experience in the electronic components industry, Richard has held leadership roles in supply chain, pricing management, operations, sales, and business development.
On a personal note, Richard and his wife, Stephanie have been married for 27 years and have three daughters. In addition to golf and fitness, he can often be found spending time outdoors with friends and family.
