The Abracon ABCM-60 GPS Disciplined Oscillators (GPSDO) merges the stability of an Oven-Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) with the precise timing signals from GNSS satellites, providing highly accurate and reliable timing. It includes a GNSS receiver for precise time information, a lock pin indicator, and holdover operation to maintain accuracy when GNSS signals are unavailable, with outputs including a 10MHz clock signal and a 1PPS signal.
This module is essential for applications requiring precise timing and frequency control. It is particularly beneficial in remote or rural areas where GNSS satellites provide reliable timing signals that other wireless communication methods, like cellular or LoRa, cannot support. Applications such as offshore oil and gas, Aerospace and Defense comms, mining operations, offshore renewables and more. By combining OCXO stability with GNSS accuracy, the ABCM-60 ensures synchronization and coordination across various systems where timing precision is critical.
