Inside Sales Representative

The Role

This position will be responsible for the tactical sales tasks in the region of responsibility. Hence the ISR will communicate frequently with assigned Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for their common territories. They will also develop and maintain relationships with certain direct accounts as well as assigned distributor(s). Communicate frequently internally to team, peers and senior management regarding opportunities, bookings, billing and revenue via, direct, managed reps. They will also communicate with teams with technical, engineering, customer service, and related support staffs to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction, thereby driving new revenue growth. We are looking for a team player that collaborates with product development regarding new product introductions for customers/distributors and can work with various teams throughout the company.

What You’ll Do

  1. Meet / exceed sales objectives for the territory.
  2. Develop relationships to facilitate the execution of sales plans with Regional Sales Managers, manufacturer’s representatives and distributors to grow sales.
  3. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with OEM and EMS customers – purchasing, supply chain, engineering, quality decision makers as well as key staff members within our franchised distributors.
  4. Prospect for new clients, and assess customer’s primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements, to provide business solutions to generate revenue.
  5. Formulate quote strategies and negotiate pricing between customers, reps and distributors.
  6. Provide management with periodic progress updates including opportunity funnel, competitor activities, and yearly business plans.
  7. Maintain thorough knowledge of industry structure, technical applications, trends, risks and opportunities
  8. Work collaboratively with RSM and other functional departments within Abracon.

Required Qualifications

  • Min 2 yr. related professional selling experience with proven ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Demonstrated experience with Power Point, Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Personal accountability and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as successfully contribute to a work team as an individual contributor
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to:
  • Present company brand and sell company values
  • Facilitate business negotiations
  • Communicate in writing and orally

Abracon is looking for one Internal Sales Representative based in our service center in Salfords, Surrey - England, they will be responsible for supporting our customers and distributors for our expanding business in EMEA. Our ISR works in conjunction with our Regional Sales Managers and help them support our entire product offering and develop our business across the territory.
