Surface Mount Stamped Sheet Metal Antennas on Tape and Reel
Abracon's OnBoard stamped metal antennas can support the Planar Inverted F Antenna (PIFA) technology. The antenna's technology can be implemented at a low cost by using stamped metal. It is supplied on Tape and Reel for electronic assembly.
One of the biggest advantages of PIFA Antennas is the limited space required on the electronics board. Because the antenna is positioned above and parallel to the PCB, the only required space is where the mounting pins are positioned.
The OnBoard SMD antenna is a secure choice to get robust connectivity in your wireless application. These antennas are applicable for protocols including Bluetooth, WiFi, Cellular, 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE, NB-IoT), and positioning/GNSS. The space-saving feature of these antennas makes them ideal for applications such as smart wearables, smart home devices, personal area networks (PAN), and many more.
