NEL Phase Noise Clean-Up Modules

NEL offers a family of clean-up module product series with proprietary phase-locked loop (PLL) technology to improve the phase noise of various precision frequency sources. These modules bridge the gap by providing complementary low-phase-noise solutions alongside atomic clocks or VCXOs. The basis for the clean-up is a high-performance quartz crystal oscillator with a voltage control function that is locked to the incoming accurate but noisy signal via a PLL mechanism.

Atomic Clock Phase Noise Clean-Up Modules with Low G Sensitivity (VCXO-based)

These are used in conjunction with an atomic clock to greatly improve the atomic clock's phase noise while maintaining its superior accuracy. In addition to improving phase noise, the low G sensitivity of these products greatly reduces the unwanted effects caused by vibration and acceleration.
