NEW! ABFT-Frequency Translator

Abracon has introduced its ABFT series of Frequency Translator / Jitter Attenuators, ideally suited to improve Jitter characteristics of the 10.0MHz input signal. This device is designed to provide input clock smoothing - while providing Phase and Frequency Locked higher frequency translated output.
Typical application will take a 10MHz reference frequency and phase and frequency lock it to either a 20MHz or a 40MHz Low Jitter VCXO. The implemented technology significantly attenuates the jitter content of the 10MHz reference signal; while keeping the higher frequency RF Output - Frequency and Phase Coherent with the input 10MHz reference signal.
• 5 x 7 x 2 mm SMT, RoHS Compliant reflow-able package
• Frequency translation to either 20MHz or 40MHz carrier

Abracon Corporation introduces its New Ultra-Low ESR Quartz Crystal series, utilizing its proprietary processing methodology.

The ABLS-LR series is designed to mate with the next-generation µcontroller and Transceiver Integrated Circuits. These crystals are optimized to properly function under any drive-level, from a few µW to 500µW; without impacting the gain margin of the oscillator loop. Abracon has expanded its product portfolio to address the strategic needs of its customers, requiring Precision Frequency References. The AST3 series offers Stratum-III stability of ±4.60 ppm; over all operating conditions including Aging for 20-years in the field. Offered in a space saving, low profile (7x5x2 mm) Seam-Sealed Hermetic package, AST3 offers exceptional frequency stability of ±0.37 ppm max. over -40ºC to +85ºC. Available with either CMOS or Clipped Sinewave Output, AST3 is offered at standard frequencies in the 10MHz to 26MHz range.
Customers requiring higher precision but are constrained by available surface area can incorporate the exceptional performance of Abracon’s Ovenized AOCXS devices. Offered in a 25.4 x 22.1 x 15.3 True SMT – RoHS Compliant Reflow-able Package; AOCXS offers frequency precision of ±30 ppb over -30ºC to +70ºC; while maintaining excellent close-in Phase Noise (-135 dBc/Hz Typ. @ 100Hz from the carrier). AOCXS is offered at standard frequencies in the 5MHz to 40MHz range.
Systems requiring excellent receiver sensitivity can leverage the exceptional close-in phase noise of the AVSS series of SMT VCXO’s. Abracon has introduced 3 new thin film chip inductors in compact 0201, 0402 and 0603 EIA case sizes designed for cellular phones, GPS modules and wireless LANS, VCO, TCXO circuits and RF transceiver modules (other applications apply, please visit website for further details). The Thin Film Chip Inductors offer stable inductance in high frequency circuits and excellent Q at specified frequencies from 300MHz up to 500MHz.

Abracon Releases New Encapsulated Toroidal Transformers

Abracon announced the release of their new encapsulated toroidal transformers, the ACTT-0xxx series, for medical equipment, test equipment and advanced A/V systems, etc. This series features fully encapsulated, low magnetic stray field emissions, low standby current and high ambient operating temperature (up to 60ºC with insulation class F, 155 ºC).
With dimensions from 40 x 40 x 18.5mm to 100 x 100 x 42mm, Abracon’s ACTT-0xxx series provide power range from 1.6VA to 85VA, with dual primary (115V/230V 50/60 Hz), series or parallel secondary availabilities. Abracon releases 2.4GHz BPF for Bluetooth, 802.11 and Custom-RF

Abracon has introduced a new, highly selective 2.4GHz Band Pass Filter for ISM Band, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n TX applications. This Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) device offers less than 2.0dB of typical in-band insertion loss over -20°C to +70°C operating temperature range.
With +15dBm of guaranteed input power handling, this device offers 47.0dB rejection from DC-to-2.3GHz typical. Additionally, high side rejection of 48.0dB typical from 2.52GHz to 2.65GHz makes it ideal for spectral sensitive applications.
